The historical correspondence consists of correspondence created and received by the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology's personnel from 1908 to 1930. The collection is 54 linear feet (ca. 2000 file folders). A list of holdings is available as an attachment to this guide. Letters between Annie M. Alexander and Joseph Grinnell regarding establishment of the Museum is housed at the Bancroft Library, University of California, Berkeley.
