Special Collections & University Archives is a department in the CSULB University Library. Our major collecting areas are University history, collections relating to local history and Californiana, U.S. politics, and the arts in Southern California. University Archives covers the history of the University and surrounding areas. Materials include yearbooks, commencement programs, presidents’ papers, meeting minutes for University organizations, and campus photography. Special Collections includes art, photography, rare books and manuscripts. We have over 16,000 books, as well as around 500 fine art and photographic prints.
