This collection contains the papers of American historian and editor Douglas Adair (1912-1968), chiefly from the 1960s, including correspondence, lectures, research notes, professional and teaching papers, scholarly writings, and papers related to the Claremont colleges.

This collection contains records of the Alexander and Brooklyn Mines in Nye County, Nevada including general correspondence of the company from 1921-1944; correspondence dealing with the purchase of the Alexander and Brooklyn Mines by the Coronado Copper and Zinc Company, 1949-1950; and assays and smelter returns from the Alexander and Brooklyn Mines, 1921-1941.

This small collection consists mostly of court and financial records from the mining town of Bodie, California, chiefly dating from 1879 to 1910, as well as some later articles and notes with information on Bodie's history. Of particular interest are the minutes from meetings of the Degree of Honor of the Ancient Order of United Workmen.

This collection contains approximately 45 pieces of correspondence and manuscripts chiefly in the hand of Scottish poet Robert Burns (1759-1796), dating from 1784. Within the documents, there are approximately 36 different pieces of verse by Burns, including poems, ballads, and songs. The correspondence, often containing lines of verse, primarily consists of one to two letters from Burns to various friends and patrons.
